When I started learning how to do nails, I thought it was all about making them look beautiful.
But as I kept practicing, I realized that good-looking nails don’t always last as long as they should.
As a beginner nail tech, I’m trying to understand not just the design, but what really makes nails last.
Some of My Recent Work

What I Thought at the Beginning
At first, I focused only on:
- shape
- color
- design
If the nails looked good, I thought everything was right.
But after a few days, I noticed that some sets didn’t last as expected.
What I’m Learning Now
Now I’m paying more attention to:
- nail preparation
- patience during the process
- how each step affects durability
I’m starting to see that small details make a big difference.
What I’m Trying to Improve
Right now, I’m focused on improving:
- consistency
- durability
- attention to detail
I know I’m still learning, but I’m excited to get better with each set.
Being a beginner nail tech is not just about making nails look good.
It’s about learning what really works and improving over time.
Every small improvement makes a difference
